Storm says

'Find me any university sports team that is more successful than UOBHC. Their achievements, both on the university front and international representation, say it all. UOBHC is the only university side that plays in the Premiership and quite simply, it was an absolute no brainer for DBA to partner with such a talented group of girls, students and athletes.

I'v always been involved with team sports so I cannot wait to go and support the team at their Wednesday BUCS games and weekend league matches. However, i'll definitely have to be a neutral supporter when they play Holcombe in the league as our other fantastic hockey ambassador, Maddie Hinch, is Holcombe's GK!

Who’s had the biggest influence on your career?

Our coach, Phil Gooderham. This season marked his 10th season with the UOBHC Ladies 1st XI. His professionalism and dedication to the University is inspiring, as well as being a father-like figure to those who have passed through his wings.

What is your current job?

We have a great balance of students and alumni within the team. The majority of students typically come from a Sport Science or Sports Coaching background, but we do have some studying Medicine, Physio, Business & Finance etc. On the other hand, our alumni currently work in either recruitment, coaching or for the NHS.

 What is your pre-competition ritual?

Eat far too many sweeties!

What song that best describes your team?

Chase & Status – I’m alive.

What’s the most important factor for success?

“All the talent in the world, won’t get you anywhere without your teammates”.

Your mantra of the moment?.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.
